Final Assault is a WWII themed Action Strategy Game built from the ground up to capitalize on the power of VR. As the player you Tower over the battlefield as the war rages around you in 360 degrees. Final Assault mixes the combat of a RTS and Moba, while keeping the focuses on the combat, removing base building and resource gathering and putting you into the battle quickly. Command jeeps, tanks, artillery and aircraft in massive ground to air battles. Execute air strikes and bombing runs as you advance your troops towards enemy territory. Control your units by drawing paths for precise, direct combat. Strategic decisions have consequences that require quick thinking and fast VR reflexes. This new approach to classic RTS gaming utilizes compelling and immersive game-play that can only exist in VR. Jump into the combat. Fight the battle, Win the War!

***NOTE: This is not a Tower Defense game, but new style of Action Strategy that mixes a RTS and Moba with play mechanics crafted for Virtual Reality.

  This is what VR is supposed to be like! I love the everything about this game.
  
  Things I love
  -Getting my eyeballs right up in the sh|t
  -airplanes tearing my sanity apart
  -swimming through the air trying to move my perspective around the map
  -leather gloves
  
  Things I wish it had
  -Change of perspective up and down. Looking straight down at the map or straight across the map.
  -More units available to the Commanders. Or an all-encompasing commander with access to all units.
  -More specific areas for units to rest, often times I will move a unit only for it to get caught on another unit or give up and join the front lines and get destroyed
  -Higher accuracy unit movement system, many bugs around this
  
  As I play the game I will update this review as needed.
  Buy it. One of the best VR games. It is everything it looks like, commanders are balanced fairly well, and there is no one powerful unit. Everything has a counter and there are many different play styles. And if the doesn't sell it to you, There is only One negative review and he clearly didn't know how to play and decided it was a "tower defense" game (its a lot more complex than that) after just 30 minutes of play time.
  It is an amazing game and I highly recommend it.. I first learned about this game at PAX South 2019. Coming from traditional RTS such as C&C, COH, etc., I wasn't expecting much when I found out that the game is more like a mix of RTS and MOBA. There would be no base building, no resource gathering, no economy to manage. I was a bit disappointed at first.
  
  When the beta was opened, I figured to give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did. The game is very enjoyable. By doing away with the managing an economy and base building, the action starts as soon as the game starts. And it gets more hectic from there.
  
  The beauty is that the gameplay mechanic is fairly simple. It's easy to pick up and start playing. Yet, there is surprising depth to play it well. It has a little for everyone. If you like PVP, it has a leaderboard for it. It has PVE if you want to play against AI. For me, I played mostly PVE.
  
  Overall, the game is (surprisingly) polished. I actually love playing this game. Do I still wish that there's a traditional RTS VR game? Of course! But that doesn't take anything away from this game. If you love RTS, you owe it to yourself to give this a try.
  
  Full Disclosure: I received this game for beta participation. However, during the course of testing, I had fully anticipated buying it once it comes out of beta.. Great mix of rts, tower defence and moba. Feels like you're controlling toy soldiers, tanks and planes that have come alive. Haven't tried the campaign yet, but matchups against ai on single maps are great. The game really shines on multiplayer though.. LOVE this game. Awesome gameplay and plus it is only Early Access who nows how much better it will be. I am a HUGE RTS Game fan and this is some NEXT LEVEL gameplay right here. +100000. Very nice game. Lots of fun!

  * The AI will no longer spawn large amounts of planes and keep them over its base.
  * The Artillery will now prioritize Infantry units over Towers.
  * Fixed a bug with the AI that prevented it from seeing War Chests that were sitting next to one of its units.
  * Fixed issue with multiplayer reconnect code not firing when player loses connection to Platform Services (Steam/Oculus/Viveport) or Phaser Lock Matchmaking Servers.
  
  KNOWN ISSUES:
  * Artillery/Bazooka Troops/Probably other Units will sometimes fire across the entire map.
  * Tutorial VO is temp and will be updated
  * When spawning new units, a unit will occasionally teleport to the spawn location instead of pathing to it from your HQ.
  * Some temporary VO is still in the game.
  * German Fighter plane missing team colors on clipboard.
